One of the necessary tasks when using Microsoft Teams is being able to hand in written work. It is so much easier when one just snap photos and have a single PDF document to upload. Initially I was encouraging students to use Office Lens to scan their work, create a PDF and then attach in the Assignments section. But, I have found that iOS devices and Office Lens do not play well together.
But with some trial and testing, I found that OneDrive's built-in scanning feature (which seems to be a modified Office Lens implementation) works very well with Android and iOS devices. It works exceptionally well, automatically converts what you scan into a PDF format and it's placed in your OneDrive right away.
Our students needed some instruction with the process, so I made the following video to assist them.
