Styles and Multi-Level Lists for Exam Setting in MS Word

In an attempt to not use tables at all for the formatting of content, I have created a multi-level list along with styles so I can easily create exam-ready documents in Microsoft Word that automatically update as I create my questions. This is particularly important when it comes to questions and multi-level lists (the arch-enemy of many a MS Word user!).

So, I started by creating the various multi-level lists that I would normally use in setting an exam paper and then creating styles to link them to so that they would always look and behave the same way.

It is still a work in progress, as I am finding that taming the multi-level list beast requires a lot of patience and constant tweaking!

It would be great for other teachers to test out my template document and provide some feedback so I know what I can fix and improve. The goal is to have a final template to make setting and formatting of exam papers in MS Word quicker, easier and much more efficient for teachers of all subjects.
